Luisa Heidemann is a medical student at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and a doctoral candidate in the MITT lab since June 2023. In the context of her studies, she performs histological investigations on human biopsies extracted from hepatocellular carcinomas. Her thesis is focused on the effects of transarterial chemoembolization on the local tumoral immune cell infiltration. She uses novel multiplex staining techniques as well as proteomics analyses on prospectively acquired samples.
